How do I access the Tenure E-Dossier and add content to it?

This guide is going to take you through accessing the Electronic Dossier and then how to add content to the document.

Click on the link in the email you received from the system.  ***Your link will have the name, department and hire date of the faculty your on the committee for.

1)  Your user name is your full TCC email address and Portal password

OneNote on the Web

From the Web version of OneNote you can edit and type comments, you can't attach documents.

To attach documents:  Click OPEN IN ONENOTE

You must have Office 2013 installed on your system in order to open the Dossier from OneNote on the Web.  

For campus systems: Please contact Information Systems about upgrading your system

For your personal system:  You can go to your campus email through the portal and go to the install for Office 365.

The Dossier will now be open on your desktop just as if it was a Word Document, Excel Spreadsheet or a PowerPoint, using the Office Application of OneNote.

The colored tabs along the top are Sections.  Think of them like books on your bookshelf, one book for each subject

Within each Section, on the right hand side, you will have a list of Pages.  Think of these as the Chapters and pages of the book

1)  Select the Section you are going to add content to

2)  Select the Page on the right hand side  (the Page title will be at the top of the white area)

3)  Open the file location where your documents are saved (Your Network drive, a flash drive or your C:/My Documents)

1)  Left click and hold on the file you want to Add to the page

2)  Drag the file over to the white area on the page where you want it inserted and let go of the left mouse button to drop it on the page

From the pop-up when you left go of the mouse left button, click Insert Printout

**The committee would like all documents to be inserted as a Printout.  They would also like all documents to be in a PDF format

Attached documents

The Icon will be showing for those that want to down load a copy.  But it will also be on the page fully to be read within the Dossier
