The highlighted options are the modes to choose for web enhanced, hybrid, and full online courses.  The $6 per credit fee for eLearning courses is automatically applied by the business office based on the mode that you choose here.  There is not any additional work to apply the $6 per credit eLearning course fee.  

Note: For Gradebook-only courses, please choose In Person.  There is not an eLearning fee associated with this mode.  I will show you in the following steps how to setup a course for Canvas access.

Go to the LMS Data tab.

In the LMS Extract File Type choose XML V1.1 (req to authenticate).

Notes: Setting this field to XML V1.1 will setup a course for Canvas integration.  Setting the course mode on the Basic Data tab will not get the course created and students enrolled into Canvas, this second step is necessary.  Similarly, setting the LMS Extract File Type to XML V1.1 will not apply the eLearning course fee.  

For Gradebook-only or Developmental Education courses, you can set the LMS Extract File Type to XML V1.1 (req to authenticate) and make no changes to the instruction mode.
